I conduct bio policy research and provide support to government departments such as the Ministry of Science and ICT.

The speaker gained B.A (1997. 02), M.S (1999. 02), and Ph.D (2003. 02) from college of pharmacy, Chung-Ang University, republic of Korea and he joined in Daewoong Pharmaceutical company from 2003. 04 to 2007. 02.

He served as assistant professor at pharmaceutical engineering/college of pharmacy, Inje University and professor of Keimyung university from 2012. 03 to 2023. 02. From 2023. 02 to the present, he is serving as full professor of college of pharmacy, Chung-Ang University. He has been conducting research on the enhancement of solubility and absorption of water insoluble drugs. Recently, he is conducting research on brain drug delivery and oral delivery of biopharmaceuticals.

Philippe is a chemist and polymer scientist graduated from Teesside Polytechnic and Loughborough University.

He has joined Gattefossé since 2020, as Scientific Director of the Pharma Group, leading the French Technical Center of Excellence in Lyon, which provides technical support to clients, formulation assessment and customized training.

His key expertise includes lipid formulation design for poorly soluble and poorly permeable drugs, oral bioavailability enhancement and sustained release dosage forms.

He also coordinates the three other international Technical Centers of Excellence, as well as managing academic research collaborations.

Philippe’s 30 years of previous industrial experience cover the full spectrum of pharmaceutical drug product development, from early-stage formulation to commercial scale up.

Has accumulated solid scientific background and business development experience.​
