[Brief Introduction of Seminar]
With the continued growth of the health functional food industry, applications and approvals for functional ingredients have steadily increased. To enhance developers’ understanding of evaluation procedures, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) has been actively revising and developing functional evaluation guidelines in alignment with current scientific and technological standards. This presentation introduces recent trends in the recognition of functional ingredients and highlights major revisions to evaluation guidelines. The aim is to provide practical insights for both developers and regulatory professionals in the field.
