CPHI/ Hi Korea 2026, Korea’s Hub for Pharma, Bio, and Health Innovation, Concludes Successfully After Three Days ● 478
companies from 22 countries exhibited; 11,589 visitors from 65 countries
attended ● Over
13,000 meeting requests and more than 700 business meetings held through the
1:1 matchmaking platform ● 2027
edition announced for COEX Hall D and Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas CPHI/ Hi Korea 2026, Korea’s hub for pharma, bio, and health
innovation hosted by Informa Markets Korea, successfully concluded its
three-day run from August 25 to 27. The event was supported by major affiliated
organizations including the Ministry of Food and Drug
Safety (MFDS), Korea Fund for Regenerative Medicine (KFRM), Korea Institute of
Toxicology (KIT), Korea Health Functional Food Association (KHFF), Korea Drug
Research Association (KDRA), Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA), and
DIPS, while the Bio Zone was co-organized with the Korea Biomedicine Industry
Association (KoBIA). ■ 478 Companies from 22 Countries, 11,589
Visitors from 65 Countries... Clear Growth Over Last Year A total of 478 companies from 22 countries exhibited at this year's
show, a 14.4% increase over last year's 418 companies from 22 countries.
International companies accounted for approximately 59.8% of all exhibitors,
outnumbering domestic companies and underscoring the exhibition's global
standing. Visitor numbers also grew, with 11,589 visitors from 65 countries
attending — up 8.1% year-over-year — of whom approximately 20.3% were
international visitors. ■ 74% of Visitors Held Purchasing Authority...
High Business Density The composition of this year's visitors stood out in particular. Of
all visitors, 74% were found to hold actual purchasing decision-making
authority, demonstrating that the exhibition has established itself as a venue
for real business decision-making rather than simple information exchange. Visitor interest was also evenly distributed across the industry.
Interest in the pharmaceutical sector was highest at 38.3%, followed by health
functional foods at 34.4%, bio at 16.1%, and lab/analytical equipment and
packaging at 11.1% — reaffirming well-balanced interest not skewed toward any
single industry. ■ Over 13,000 Meeting Requests, More Than 700
Business Meetings Held Through 1:1 Matchmaking On-site business matching results were also notable. Through the 1:1
matchmaking platform operated at this year's exhibition, more than 13,000
meeting requests were exchanged, of which over 700 were held as actual business
meetings. This demonstrates that the exhibition functions as a platform that
goes beyond simple attendance to deliver tangible business outcomes. ■ 41 Conferences, 70 Seminars, 33 IR Sessions...
144 Sessions Successfully Held The conference and seminar program also concluded successfully. This
year's event featured a total of 144 sessions, comprising 41 conferences, 70
seminars, and 33 IR pitching sessions. In particular, the conference held
concurrently with the 'K-Health Functional Food: Innovative Strategies for
Global Expansion' conference drew the strongest response. Content spanning the
full range of the pharmaceutical, bio, and health functional food industries
was presented to strong visitor interest, including the '2026 Key Health
Functional Food Policies' session featuring the Ministry of Food and Drug
Safety, the Bio-Health Policy Forum featuring the National Bio-Innovation
Committee, the K-Bio Innovative Modality session, the AI drug discovery
seminar, and the microneedle technology seminar. ■ 2027 Edition to Expand Across COEX Hall D and Grand
Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Exhibitor interest in next year's event is already strong. Booths in
COEX Hall D are mostly sold out, and CPHI/ Hi Korea is expected to expand in
2027 to more than 450 exhibiting companies and over 12,000 visitors. Due to
renovation work at COEX, next year's event will be held across both COEX Hall D
and Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas, with the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas
newly introduced as a premium exhibition space for the pharmaceutical and bio
sectors. ■ Inquiries: Website www.cphikorea.co.kr / Email cphi-kr@informa.com / Phone +82-2-6715-5400 |
