CPHI/ Hi Korea 2025 Marks 10th Anniversary with Record-Breaking Results, Sets Sights on Further Growth in 2026

– CPHI Korea Bio Zone returns for its second edition following strong debut, with expanded participation from high-potential biotech startups –

Seoul, Republic of Korea — Informa Markets Korea, a global exhibition organiser, announced that CPHI/ Hi Korea 2026 will take place from 25–27 August 2026 at COEX Hall C and The Platz Hall, building on the strong performance of CPHI/ Hi Korea 2025.

   Celebrating its 10th anniversary, CPHI/ Hi Korea 2025 recorded its largest edition to date, welcoming 418 exhibitors from 22 countries and 10,722 visitors from 65 countries. Notably, 39% of attendees were C-level executives, while 78% held purchasing decision-making authority, reaffirming the event’s position as a pure B2B business platform representing the pharmaceutical, bio and health ingredients industries both in Korea and globally.

   Exhibitor satisfaction levels were also high. 88% percent of exhibitors reported satisfaction with their participation, 82% expressed their intention to return in 2026, and 83% stated they would recommend the event to peers and industry contacts—underscoring CPHI/ Hi Korea’s growing reputation as a trusted business marketplace. In addition, the organiser-operated Online Matchmaking Platform facilitated 594 on-site meetings, generated over 9,000 meeting requests, and achieved an average satisfaction score of 4.67 out of 5, earning recognition as a flagship programme that enabled meaningful consultations between exhibitors and buyers.

   CPHI/ Hi Korea is a co-located exhibition encompassing pharmaceuticals (CPHI Korea), health ingredients and nutraceuticals (Hi Korea), biopharmaceuticals (CPHI Korea Bio Zone), and laboratory equipment, pharmaceutical machinery and packaging (CPHI Korea Lab Equipment, Machinery & Packaging Zone).

At the 2025 edition, key areas of visitor interest included:

·       CPHI Korea Pharmaceutical Zone: APIs & generic APIs, excipients, finished dosage formulations, intermediates and fine chemicals, CDMO/CMO services

·       Hi Korea Nutraceuticals Zone: Natural extracts, functional ingredients and finished products, OEM/ODM, testing and quality control

·       CPHI Korea Bio Zone: Biopharmaceuticals, digital healthcare, biotech and processing technologies, cold chain solutions

·       CPHI Korea Lab Equipment, Machinery & Packaging Zone: Pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processing machinery, laboratory and analytical equipment, packaging materials and drug delivery systems

For 2026, the organiser plans to further strengthen booth layouts and visitor flow to encourage greater cross-visitation and collaboration across pharmaceuticals, bio, nutraceuticals, and lab equipment, machinery & packaging sectors.

The CPHI Korea Bio Zone, launched for the first time in 2025 and co-organised with the Korea Biomedicine Industry Association (KoBIA), established itself as a specialised hub covering the full bio value chain, including biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, digital healthcare, CRO/CDMO services and cold chain solutions. The zone featured programmes linked to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ “DIPS 1000+ (Deep Tech Incubator Project for Startup)”, including Open Innovation Day, Global IR Day, and Startup Matching Day, providing promising Korean biotech startups with opportunities to engage directly with large and mid-sized corporations, Middle Eastern and global buyers, and venture capital investors to explore technology partnerships and investment opportunities.

Building on these achievements, the CPHI Korea Bio Zone will return for its second edition in 2026, with an expanded share of startup participation and strengthened partnering, IR and pitching programmes. The zone aims to evolve into an open innovation platform where early-stage bio and healthcare companies, CDMOs, CROs, and global pharmaceutical and investment players can grow together.

CPHI/ Hi Korea 2026 will be held over three days from 25–27 August 2026 at COEX Hall C and The Platz Hall. Based on the 2025 results, the organiser is targeting over 12,000 visitors and more than 420 exhibitors for the 2026 edition. A number of leading domestic and international companies and institutions—including DSM-firmenich, Suheung, BIONEER, SIRIO, NIBR and Almac—have already confirmed their participation, further raising expectations for the upcoming event.

In 2026, the organiser will continue to enhance Online Matchmaking Platform, conferences and seminars, and specialised programmes spanning pharmaceuticals, bio and health ingredients, reinforcing CPHI/ Hi Korea’s role as a business-driven exhibition that leads to tangible outcomes such as contracts, collaborations and investments, beyond brand promotion alone.
